NerdRemix Horror Hottie of the Month-October 2012

Hometown:

 Chicago, IL

Selected Filmography:

"Frankenstein: Day of the Beast", "Dark Worlds: Slasher", "The Dark Knight", "Sister Mary", "Illusion", "Post Mortem America, 2021"

Fave Horror Film:

The tie for number one favorite is between Return of the living Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, and the tie for number two favorite is just way too long. I have always loved dark comedies since I could crawl. I very much enjoy horror films like May, Funny Games, The Gate, Audition, Behind the Mask, American Psycho, House, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, any classic Universal monster films, and anything Vincent Price.

Fave Musician/Band:

Hard to pick favorites not because I can't decide between a few that I really love, but I listen to just about everything: Lou Monte to The Beatles, Johnny Cash to Salt & Pepper, Frank Sinatra to The Cramps, and Alice Cooper to Kamelot. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Amanda Palmer, Dr. Dre, and a post-rock instrumental band called Hungry Ghosts. My playlists don't ever make any sense lol. I very much adore anything with violins or songs with witty or poetic lyrics. I also listen to a lot of soundtracks.

Inspires Me:

Anything unusual, very creative, or requires lots of analyzing :) I love being given problems and finding solutions to them. I would much rather make something on my own than just go out and buy it. I have always had the attitude that you can make anything if you put your mind to it. From making costumes to carpentree, I love creating!

Makes Me Smile:

Clever puns, trivial trivia, random references, and any kind of vaudevillian or cabaret song and dance routine. If James Cagney or Jerry Lewis are involved this is a very big plus :) Most of my humor comes from classics like the Marx Brothers, Three Stooges, and Martin & Lewis, so I am usually found laughing more than I am smiling. Other things of course that make me smile is my time spent with my video games, comics, and working on film projects and developing my characters.

Makes Me Want To Kill:

When people don't learn from their mistakes or the mistakes of others. People that see but fail to observe. Things like this are more frustrating than anything. The only things that I would kill for are my loved ones.

My Horror Icon:

Vincent Price is an icon for me because he was so much more than just a horror icon, but an acting icon. He was a classic entertainer and I have the utmost respect for him.

I Would Re-Make:

I don't really like the idea of most re-makes (I hate seeing a film with a good name ruined, I'd rather see something new and innovative) so this answer changes all the time depending on my mood. I'd re-make The Last Dragon but only if I could be a female version of Sho'nuff lol! That movie is a childhood favorite :D

I Plan To Celebrate Halloween By_____:

Making some awesome costumes, wearing them out, and staying in character no matter what! haha! One I'm making this year is a version of Poison Ivy :) I'm also making a Tim Sale version of Scarecrow!

About Me and My Latest Project:

I love listening, watching people, thinking, and doing anything I can to help people. I'm very much interested in psychology and am currently working toward a doctorate in the field. I'm also very interested in detective stories which is probably where my love for Sherlock Holmes and Batman mythology comes from. I'm more of a private gamer and prefer RPGs to MMOs. My family and close loved ones mean the world to me. Helping someone with a problem or making someone laugh gives me great satisfaction. I love going to conventions and interacting with my fans and learning who they are. Being able to entertain someone and bring them to a new world, away from all their problems even if its for a short time,  makes me immensely happy.

I am very picky, for a varriety of reasons, about what roles/projects I accept. A few I have coming up that I am proud of are Hells Little Angels, Midnight Carnival, Night Of The Living Dead, and In Vein. I also have more things in the works with Comic Book Divas.
